| Zeitstrafe is a D.I.Y. record label based in Kiel, Germany and came to life in 2003 because i wanted to release a 7" from a band i'm friends with. After that everything just went on, somehow. I'm not into this to blow up my ego, prove anything to anyone or to join a who's the biggest punkrock/hardcore motherfucker in town competition. I don't care about getting backslappings and fake hugs from every cool kid in the "scene". Fuck all that shit. |

| Well, of course you can send your demo but please don't expect anything. I am not looking for new bands (really... i'm not) and i will never ever release a record from a band i don't know in person, haven't seen live a couple of times and so on. Zeitstrafe is a network of friends and we seriously mean it. As i said, you can send stuff and i will listen to everything but if you're dreaming of a cool label "signing" your band i recommend you to save that postage money. |

| First off, i'm not sorry for having no shopping cart! If you want to order something just send an email to post@zeitstrafe.de with all the stuff you'd like to call your own plus your address and we will work out everything easy and quick (details like postage and blablabla). Right? |

| Shame on you... It's never too late to change your life into a better direction though so this is how it goes: Just send an email to post@zeitstrafe.de! I would be happy to give you all the wholesale information you need. About trading: Yes, i do like trading records but once in a while i need to sell some too so i can keep on running Zeitstrafe. That means i can't and won't trade with every record out there. You also have to keep in mind that i have to like the things you're offering. Don't be mad, if i don't like it, nothing personal. Well, maybe sometimes it actually is personal... But i think trading is cool and pretty punk generally, so send your lists. We'll see if we can work something out. Oh, and if you think i suck, you can get all available Zeitstrafe releases at Widespread Distribution as well. Hey, this is something! |

| No! I used to book shows for some years but that's over. I guess that won't stop bookers and bands sending their annoying emails all day long ... Stop it, c'mon! Are you going to scream some "free dates" into my grave at my fucking funeral?! Every now and then i'm helping out bands that i know and like with shows but that is it. |

| Stop looking for that section, it doesn't exist. Poor Zeitstrafe and poor you. For interviews, information, band contacts and all that kind of stuff just check out the Zeitstrafe related bands links, visit the bands website, get in touch with them and no one gets harmed. Pretty easy, huh? |

We are not sure of what it will be all about, the content or the cause but check this out: It's for your own good to send us some records for "promotion" . | Oh, wow, thank you so much that you seem to be so interested in "supporting" my label... Serious, fanzines are really fucking great and unbelievably important for this thing we got going on. I love reading them and will always support them. BUT: I'm sick of people who start some internet bullshit only to get free records and sneak into shows. Just like any other "scene activity" (haha) fanzines should be created out of honest passion and a love for music, not because you are looking to get records, money or a bunch of nasty scene points. Some time ago i sent a 7" to some of that "fanzines" (should't call them like that) and the response was "we can't review your seveninch because no one of us owns a recordplayer". You call yourselves "fans"?! So if you run a fanzine it would be very cool to send me a copy of your zine (now here's my "gimme gimme" part) or at least let me know what your zine is about and things like that. And PLEASE make sure that you will really review what you request because i'm not that rich that i can send away records for nothing... I'm doing my best in sending a lot of promotional copies to zines but keep in mind that Zeitstrafe is not a big company. |
